“A store wants my email before it gives me a first-order offer?Copy the address above, enter it there, then come back here to check the verification code.”
— When claiming a first-order offer“Just want to see the member price, without getting three promotions a day from now on.Once the address expires, there’s nowhere to send those emails.”
— When signing up for member pricing“The code hasn’t arrived, but the address is about to expire?Click once to add 3 hours, and keep the same address and inbox.”
— When an email is taking a little longerSound familiar?
You claim a first-order offer from a food delivery or beauty site. The offer is used, but the emails keep coming: new arrivals, flash sales, and “Your cart is waiting.”
You click unsubscribe, but two weeks later they’re back with a different subject line. The emails you actually need—bills, work, family—get pushed to page three of your inbox.
The problem is the address you gave them in the first place. Once it’s on a marketing list, it’s hard to take back.
Try this instead:When a site requires an email to claim an offer or sign up, use an address that disappears automatically. You still get the verification code and claim the offer. When the address expires, it and its emails are deleted, leaving future promotions nowhere to go.

How long can I use an address?
New addresses are valid for 3 hours. The countdown on the first screen shows the exact time remaining. When it reaches zero, the address and its emails are deleted. Need more time? Click “Extend by 3 hours” to add 3 hours each time.
How long does it take to receive a verification code?
The inbox checks for new messages every few seconds. Actual delivery time depends on the sender and email delivery. If you don’t see a message, click “Refresh” above the list. Also check that the sender accepts temporary email addresses.
Can I choose the part before the @ sign?
Temporary addresses are generated at random and can’t be customized. For a permanent, memorable address, create an alias with email forwarding.
When should I avoid using a temporary address?
Don’t use an expiring address for accounts where you may need to reset a password, track an order, contact customer service, or get an invoice. Use email forwarding or your primary address instead. Don’t use temporary email to get around a store’s offer rules.
What are the two emails in the inbox?
They’re sample messages marked “Demo,” included to show what received emails look like. They aren’t affiliated with the brands shown and will be replaced when real emails arrive. Deleting them only affects this visit to the page.
Before entering your email next time, copy this address.
Your address is at the top of the page. Make sure it’s ready before claiming an offer or requesting a verification code. For accounts you need to keep, use your own email address or a forwarding alias.
